A Blab: Fiction

Hello

So I've been writing a lot recently and I just want all of you to know that something is coming. It may be a while but It's in the woodwork. In addition to all of the day to day business I've been chipping away at something capital-H Huge that may take years to finish, but I believe in it.

Am I being to vague? Probably.

Ok so one is just a regular novel, maybe I'll finish this one before the other one takes off but I think it's a promising premise and I will post more of it when I feel like it is more fine-tuned. The other thing is a series. Sci-fi/Fantasty. Probably looking at three books.

If I end up throwing it all away and getting a desk job where I have to wear a tie everyday, I want you to publicly shame me.

I'm counting on you, and so are all these characters who will otherwise be held in an unpublished limbo until the end of days, and we wouldn't want that.

And also, comics may be on the way. Be on the lookout.

Fantastic 4 Trailer

I'm no expert on the Fantastic 4. I saw the first movie way back when and looking back on it, It's not great. This one is not a continuation or a prequel of the original movies which is GREAT. 

The trailer came out today, and I must say, all in all, I'm impressed. The first few shots are quite spectacular. It really looks like we are getting a serious actor-based F4 movie which is not a bad thing.

No shots of Dr. Doom or whatever he's called in this one.

The Thing isn't wearing any pants which is... interesting? I guess, I'm half eager to see if the four's transformation turns him into a giant sexless statue of a would-be man or not. Actually I wouldn't care to see that at all.

Miles Teller impressed me in whiplash and Michael Jordan is a pretty good basketball player and did a fine job in Space Jam so we'll see.

As for the others....?

Kate Mara has failed to impress me and Jamie Bell hasn't been at the forefront of anything. He better say "It's Clobberin' Time" though. He probably wont. The catchphrase is dead.

Anyway I'm gonna give the trailer a 23/10 because of Michael Jordan

What is this 2007?

OK fine, it's the blog you've all asked for all of these years.

Lets get right to it then. It seems like I may have some free time on my hands that I could be using for some good old fashioned writing. Now I want to tell you what this is going to be about but... I dunno, stuff?

Anyway this is where there will be posts. And there will be posts, whether you like it or not, I'm not making you read it!

Short form, long form, updates on stories, music, projects, other, etc...

And yes, rantings and ravings, probably mostly rantings and ravings.

And before you say "What do I care about any of this stuff? This guys dumb. He should get a job." I will say: You're dumb! You get a job!

But for all of you who are nice, I'll be nice. Everyone's got a story. I've got mine and I'm sticking to it.
